15 Best Spooky Halloween Drinks and Punch Recipes

How to make Halloween drinks

Halloween is fast approaching and I know that you are already feeling the spirit of this holiday because of the abundance of pumpkins, Halloween related items at stores, and spooky home decors in everyone’s front porch! Halloween is definitely one of the most anticipated holidays all across the globe because of its traditions including wearing spooky costumes, trick or treating, and arranging Halloween parties. And of course, your Halloween party will not be complete without any spooky drinks! Before you panic, do not worry because you do not need to hire a bartender or order some fancy drinks at a restaurant. In fact, you can make a lot of the drinks you see on Pinterest on your own!
But first, what makes a good Halloween drink? Of course, you must plan the presentation. What can make your drink scary? Maybe add some dry ice to make a smokey presentation. Add some spooky candies like eyeballs, gummy worms, or fingers. Or place your drink in a spooky container like a skull jar. This is the best time to use your imagination!
With all that said, here is an easy black Halloween punch recipe featuring a frozen hand you can try out:
Ingredients
Unsweetened grape soft drink mix
Unsweetened orange soft drink mix
2 cups white sugar
3 quarts cold water
1 liter ginger ale
Instructions
To make a frozen hand, you just need to use a disposable glove, fill it with water, and seal with a rubber band and freeze until it’s fully hard.
For your drink, stir together the grape mix and orange mix, along with sugar and water until fully dissolved. Next, mix in with chilled ginger ale before serving. Get your frozen hand, dip briefly in warm water, then peel off the glove. Place the frozen hand in the punch bowl to make a spooky floating hand presentation.

Halloween drinks for kids

Before you feel excited and make all the spooky punch and cocktails you can think of, you must also take note of your visitors. Are they mostly adults or are there also kids attending? And even then, there are also some adults who do not drink alcoholic beverages at all. So, to make your Halloween party inclusive and fun for everyone, it is best to prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for your guests.
With that said, here is how you can make a spooky fog non-alcoholic drink very easily:
Ingredients:
Colorful drink like Gatorade or Kool-aid
Gummy worms or other spooky candies
Dry ice
Instructions:
Fill your glass or bowl with your colorful drink. Next, add some gummy worms or other spooky candies such as eyeballs, spiders, and more.
Finally, add in a few pieces of dry ice for that witchy and foggy effect.
Do note that the dry ice is only for presentation and should not be swallowed. Wait for the dry ice to evaporate entirely before drinking.
