Traditions, tales, and festivals abound throughout China. The Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year, is one of the most important holidays in China. Chinese New Year is traditionally celebrated for sixteen days (from the Chinese New Year to the Lantern Festival). While most Westerners celebrate the occasion by watching parades in Chinatown and a delectable meal, there are definitely more ways and activities you can do to celebrate this special day.
