In just a few months, we are going to celebrate once again one of the most important holidays of the year. In my household, the table is never complete unless there is at least a plate of pancakes for Christmas as well as the new year. But the thing with pancakes is that they can ruin your new diet a great deal. It’s a good thing that we have a couple of weight watchers pancake recipes that’ll help you enjoy the holiday seasons without having to compromise the built that you worked so hard to achieve in the past 12 months.
Weight Watchers Protein Pancakes Recipe
This one is one of m favorite pancakes. There was a time when I would bring a couple of protein pancakes with me when I go to the gym. It’s a great way to replenish my energy after a good workout. Since it’s filled with proteins, it is not going to hurt your healthy lifestyle in any way. It’s also really delicious making it a really great dish for the dinner table this holiday season.
Let me share with you this weight watchers protein pancakes recipe:
The recipe is really quite simple. You just need a cooking spray, two large eggs, and one medium ripe banana.
All you have to do is take a medium bowl and then mash the bananas in. Take a separate bowl and then whisk the eggs and then you can start to mix these eggs with the mashed bananas.
You can then take a large non-stick skillet and then coat it with cooking spray. Now, you can set it at medium heat. Each pancake is going to require three tablespoons of batter. You need to cook each pancake for 30 seconds up to one minute. You can flip the pancakes with a thin spatula. Make sure that the bottom reaches a golden color.

The recipe I am about to share with you is going to take 33 minutes to complete but it’s definitely worth it. So, there is no need to worry.
You are going to need the following ingredients:
- All-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 2 eggs whites
- Whole wheat flour
- Unsweetened applesauce
- Low-fat milk
- Unsalted butter
- Quick-cooking rolled oats
- Table salt
- Baking powder
- Maple syrup
- Cooking spray
- Unpacked light brown sugar
- Ground cinnamon
Now here is what you have to do. You have to mix both whole wheat flour and all-purpose flour in a large bowl. And then add in the oats, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Stir them well. Add sugar.
And then take another bowl, this time a medium bowl. And then mix the eggs, egg whites, applesauce, butter, and one cup of milk.
Now, this is one of the fun parts. You have to mix the egg mixture with the flour mixture. After that, it is time to coat your skillet with cooking spray.
You can then set the skillet to medium heat. Take your pancake batter and cook into the skillet. Repeat the process with the rest of the pancake batter to make more pancakes.
Just like in the protein pancakes recipe, you need to make sure that the bottom of the pancake is in a golden color.
Weight Watchers Old-Fashioned Pancakes
Naturally, I don’t like anything old-fashioned. I like to go along with the contemporary, the modern. But I am going to make an exception for pancakes.
In terms of food, the original recipe is indeed one of the tastiest you will ever encounter compared to all other revived recipes.
For this weight watchers old-fashioned pancakes, you only need 20 minutes to prepare your favorite dish.
Here are the ingredients that you need to prepare:
- Wheat flour
- 2 egg whites
- Unsweetened almond milk
- Vanilla extract
- Baking powder
The process is particularly easy. All you have to do is mix all of the ingredients. Use the cooking spray to coat the skillet. Afterward, you can add the butter to the skillet. You can start cooking the pancakes one at a time.
Flip the pancakes from time to time making sure that each side reaches a golden color. You can add fruit, maple syrup, or honey to your pancakes as a finishing touch.
I really love this pancakes recipe because it takes just like how my grandma used to make them. Due to the familiar taste, kids around the house will most probably prefer them over other recipes as well.
